"Oh, yeah, sorry." Maddie said. "The cable here is awful. So, I don't know when I'm getting back. If people keep dying, I guess I'm staying-oh my gods, that's SKILL!!" Maddie yelled at the T.V.
"He's awesome! Yeah!! PUNCH HIM IN THE STOMACH!!!" Arianna screamed at the T.V.

"We will get back after this commercial break!" The man boomed.

"I think. But we have a ton of family members." Maddie said.
"A ton of victims for the killer to stab." Arianna said, munching on popcorn. "It's stupid. Who would go for our freaking family?"
"I don't know. Someone stupid." Maddie said. "It's ALWAYS someone stupid."
"Maddie, that's all you ever say. Where should we go? Somewhere that isn't stupid. What should we eat? Something that isn't stupid. Where is the enemy hiding? Somewhere stupid." Arianna rolled her eyes.

Maddie nodded and chuckled a bit. "Stupidity is only reserved for the people that are pros at stupid." Maddie said. "I took a math test, and I got an H on it! Boom! Is that even possible?"
"They have to make a whole new letter for the level of stupidity you put on tests." Arianna laughed.

In the morning, Maddie didn't send an iris-message. Nothing happened in the morning. Something bad obviously happened.

Leo woke up early, and hoped that Maddie was okay, and that she could come back. He frowned when she didn't send an iris-message.

Around noon, Maddie sent Leo an iris-message. Maddie was biting her lip. She was in her hotel room, and wearing a black dress, the kind you use at a funeral. "Uh, hey Leo..." Maddie said awkwardly. "Sorry, today I.....when I got out of bed, I found Arianna on the floor, with a knife in her back." Maddie said, cringing.
A voice from outside yelled: "Hey! You packing?! You're credit card maxed! Get out!"
"I don't freaking care! Does it sound like I freaking care?!? Because I don't freaking care!!" Maddie screamed, throwing a knife at the door.

Scarlet went to her cousins house.
"Hi Scarlet!" Her little cousin Billy said.
"Hi Billy. Hi Mariah." Scarlet said to her other cousin who was practically her twin.
"C'mon in. Are you on vacation? Why can't your boarding school do summer break?" Mariah asked. Scarlet winced when Mariah said "boarding school" about camp half blood. Mariah saw Scarlets face and said, "My room then."

The doorman angrily walked inside. "Miss Hills, you have to leave, NOW-"
Maddie took off her black high heel and threw it at his head. He fell down, unconscious.
"Gods, those things hurt. How do girls where those?" Maddie muttered, slamming the door shut and pushing the doorman in her closet. She locked the closet door.

"Hey!! I'm calling security!!" The doorman yelled, dialing on his walkie-talky.

Security busted down the door.
"Oops. Sorry. I gotta talk to you later." Maddie said. She threw a brick at one of the security people, and then the iris-message faded.

"Ah, great." Leo said angrily. He turned to walk back to his cabin, and he saw Annabeth, heading into the woods. "Where are you going?" He asked.
"Like I said, I'm leaving for a while." Annabeth replied. She continued to walk until she was out of sight.

One of the security people tried to tase Maddie, but she jumped out of the way. She jumped out of the hotel window, crashing through the glass. "Today sucks..." Maddie muttered. She maxed her credit card, she got kicked out of a hotel, the cops were looking for her, there was a murderer going around, and Maddie was almost positive it was Leo. I mean, Arianna died right after Leo met her. Wouldn't that make sense?

Maddie just turned and began to run. She didn't plan on going back to camp anytime soon. Someone was going after her, and she knew she was next to get murdered. Her eyes darted to every corner, and even after her legs began to bleed, she didn't stop running. It didn't help she was wearing a dress. Mental note, she thought. Next time asked to dress formal, come in casual wear. When questioned, kill everyone. She was satisfied with that.
