Days passed, and it was the day that Annabeth had to leave. She sat on the front step of her cabin.

Maddie didn't come out. She was still in her bed, unmoving. She was at least glad she got to be alone. She was pretty thirsty and hungry after days, but she felt worse emotionally.

"No." Maddie moaned. "Leave me alone."

Annabeth got a text from her dad. She stood up, and sighed. She quickly ran to Percy's cabin and knocked on the door.
Percy opened the door. "You're leaving now, aren't you?"
"Yes, Seaweed Brain." Annabeth rolled her eyes. She hugged Percy. "I'm going to miss you."

Daniel grabbed Maddie's ankle and dragged her out the door, with her kicking and screaming. It would have been quite a funny scene, except Maddie was flinging her sword around and her face was red with anger.
