The man frowned. "...Okay." He said slowly. "If you hear the siren, you get over here, got it? Your tent is over there." He said, pointing outside. "Get some rest."
The little girl skipped off to the tent.

Maddie kept banging and pouring things together, but nothing worked so far.

Scarlet ran to get Tessa who was climbing Thalia's tree.
"Come with me." Scarlet told Tessa. They ran into the woods back to Bella, Annabelle, and Laiea.
"Hi idiot." They all said.

The little girl ran inside the tent, smiling. She couldn't wait for some action.

"I hope it works soon." Leo said quietly.

Percy walked into the tent, and looked at the little girl. "You seem excited." He said, not realizing how nervous he sounded.

Nothing happened with the acid and other liquids. Maddie sighed. "Who knew making a little time machine is so hard? I made more complicated things before. This should've been easier." She kept mixing things.

"If you really want to go home, you can." The little girl said. "It'll be okay." She smiled a little.

Maddie sighed, and her sigh knocked over some liquids. "Whoa.." Maddie said. All the liquids seemed to joint together, and come together in a giant puddle. Different colors swirled, and then the whole room exploded.

Maddie's dad came out of the house. "You. Exploded. My. HOUSE?! You exploded my car, you exploded a restaurant, you exploded a school, you exploded a kitchen, you exploded half of Canada, now you exploded half of my HOUSE?!"
"I have a gift." Maddie said defensively. "Of exploding things. And....Canada? Wow, I forgot about that one. Heh heh, that was kind of fun, actually....heh heh..."

I'm gonna blow you up!' so out of instinct, I yelled 'Not if I don't blow you up first!' and I set five hundred sticks of dynamite on Niagra falls, and blew the place up. It took FOREVER to wipe everyone's memories. But it was so worth it. Heh heh heh...."

Maddie shrugged. "Eh. It happened a long time ago." She looked over to the explosion. "Moving past that....something's going on over there." She ran over to the puddle, that was still stirring and changing colors.
