Leo had many nightmares that night, but one freaked him out the most. In his dream, Annabeth was running in a forest, as if she was being chased. A large monster was chasing her, roaring loudly. It tackled Annabeth, and Leo woke up.

Everyone was screaming and panicking. Even the pilot.
"Pull yourself together!" Maddie yelled at the pilot, slapping him.
"We don't have enough parachutes for everyone!! WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!!" The pilot screamed.
"No, we aren't!!" Maddie yelled. "Hold on!" She sat in the control panel. It looked complicated. Might need to wing it, Maddie thought. She began pressing random buttons.

Leo tried to fall asleep again, but it was useless. Maddie wasn't back, and Annabeth was in danger. He had a lot to worry about.

"What. Are. You. DOING?!" The pilot screamed. "Are you TRYING to kill us?!"
Maddie punched the pilot, and the pilot fell unconscious. "Haters gonna hate." She muttered. She grabbed a hold of the steering-thingy, but it was no use. Maybe they were going to crash. They were only a few hundred feet from the ground. It would be soon.

Maddie closed her eyes, and what felt like a second but was really an hour, she woke up in a hospital. "Erm...wha?" She muttered. Her head hurt. Now it felt literally IMPOSSIBLE to remember what Leo looked like, or anyone else. How would she know if it was him or some random dude? This. Day. Sucked.

Leo finally fell asleep, but he woke up again because of nightmares. He decided that he wasn't going to sleep, and he walked around the woods until the sun came up.

Maddie passed out again, and when she woke up, she felt a little better, but everything still hurt. She tried to sit up, but she couldn't. That was....so...SO scary.
"W-....what happened?" Maddie muttered, her mouth feeling incredibly dry.
"Plane crash." A doctor replied, checking some papers.
"Will I be alright?" Maddie squeaked.
When the doctor didn't reply, Maddie didn't care about the no getting scared or no crying rule. She started crying, and she was scared.

Maddie went in coma again, this time for almost the whole day. She woke up again, this time able to sit up. "...I don't care if you say no, I just want to know." Maddie said quietly.
"What?" The doctor asked.
"Will I be okay?" Maddie repeated.
"You...." The doctor didn't say anything for a moment, then asked: "Do you believe in miracles?"
Maddie was quiet for a minute. What kind of question was that? She finally said: "Yes, I do."
"Then you'll be alright." The doctor said like it was a fact.

Leo heard a strange noise, and he looked around. There was nothing around him that could've made that noise, so he forgot about it, hoping that it wasn't anything bad.

"Can I go home?" Maddie asked, using her charmspeak. "Please?"
The doctor thought for a moment, then nodded. Maddie immediately hobbled to her feet, but she couldn't walk. Ouch! That hurt more than acid on her thumb. She fell flat on her face.
"You MIGHT need this," The doctor said, pointing to a wheel chair.
Maddie nodded, sat in the wheel chair, and went out of the hospital.

The wheel chair was going SO slow. Maddie didn't care if it hurt, she got out of it. She wanted to go fast. She tried running, but it turned out to be walking. She saw Leo, but she didn't know it was him. She frowned. Could it be him? Nah, it's not. She thought. Is it? No, it's not. It might be...She kept staring at him, trying to decide.
