"Well we're the adults, so we make the decisions." Maddie's dad said.

Maddie got out of the car, and ran into her dad-the one that adopted her. "Oh, hey." She said. "Sorry, it's a long story....here's your car."
"Ah, it's okay, listen, there's something bad going on." Maddie's dad said.
Maddie frowned. Her dad didn't care she stole his car for three days? Something was up. "Uhm....one a scale of one to ten?"
"Eleven."

A little girl, about eleven, ran out of the house. When Maddie saw her, her jaw dropped. She. Was. Adorable. So. ADORABLE! Maddie immediately felt pity. The girl had many cuts along her face, like she's been through a lot. She looked at Maddie and Leo. "Uh...who're you?"
