Maddie grimaced at the guards conversation. Her eyes turned back to green with shock. She began screaming swear words at them hysterically for killing Percy, not caring if they were deeply offended and they killed her. That's the price you had to pay for saying what you actually thought.

Two guards walked by, carrying Percy's limp body. It was true. Percy was dead.

This day stinks, Maddie thought angrily. Her throat hurt too bad to keep yelling, so she just sat down and waited for something to happen. Would the guards kill her too? Probably not, Maddie thought.
