Maddie wondered if that really happened for a moment, or it was her imagination. A lot of things were happening that was just her imagination. Most of the time. She slowly walked back into her cabin, but couldn't fall asleep the rest of the night.

There seems to be a force field around it." Percy said. He swung his sword at the bars, but an invisible force stopped the sword before it hit the bars.

"Maybe it needs a magic touch." Maddie said, but when she touched it, the force field still worked. "Darn. Hmm....any chance a chain saw would work? I got that in my room too. But, shh, don't tell the Aphrodite kids, I said I threw it away. Sometimes it can break through force fields."

Maddie ran to her room, and grabbed her chain saw. She ran back to the cage, and swung her chain saw with force at it.

The force field still worked. It blocked the chain saw with a blinding light.
Two nearly-human guards ran to Percy. "What are you doing?" One of them asked.
