"No he's not." Maddie said, picking up her chain saw and showing it to them. "I'm teaching him how strong the force field is, so he knows not to break out. And also how much force a chain saw has. A lot of force. That's how much."

Percy looked at Maddie like, 'Go. Now.'
The first guard glared at Maddie. "Do you really think I'm going to fall for that?"
"There is a way to get him out, but you'd have to find the entrance." The other guard said. "And that's nearly impossible."
"You shouldn't have said that." The first guard said. "Now she knows."
"Yeah, she does." Percy said mockingly. "And there's nothing you can do about it."

"I don't even know what I did." Percy said, although he sounded surprisingly calm.

Percy didn't say anything. He just glared at the guards.
"That's enough." The second guard said to Percy. He walked in, and kicked Percy hard in the stomach.
Percy doubled over, unable to breathe.

Percy was laying on the ground. He shot a mean look at the guards.
"That's enough of your behavior, 148." The first guard said angrily.

"148?" Maddie questioned. "And....Percy isn't a fugitive. I met fugitives plenty of times, and he isn't one of them. I would have killed him by now if he was a fugitive."

Maddie slowly woke up. The first thing she said was: "I made a lot of stupid decisions, but I think that was in the top ten dumbest. Hey, at least now you have a cage buddy. But the problem is I'm the cage buddy, and we can't get out. Oops."

"You just now realized?" Percy asked, just as a guard came in and tied Percy's hands behind his back. Percy looked like he knew what was going on, and it wasn't good.

The guard led Percy out of the cage, and locked it again so Maddie couldn't get out. Percy was led out of sight.

Maddie checked her watch. It was eight in the morning. Great. And she was trapped inside a freaking cage. It was unfair. Unfair. The word seemed to echo in her mind, when her eyes turned white. She screamed in frustration, and began kicking and banging on the force field very, very hard.

A few minutes later, a guard came out, carrying everything that Percy had with him. His sword, and his Camp Half-Blood necklace.
"Are those his belongings?" Another guard asked.
"Yes."
