"Yeah, I am." Daniel said in a small voice. He stopped crying a few minutes ago, but he still felt broken. Maddie's voice kept ringing in his ears, telling him great words of wisdom she once said. But it felt meaningless. Everything she ever told him 'It'll be alright.' 'Sometimes you just gotta believe in the miracles.' 'The end is near.....so you don't have to study for the science test now!' Daniel usually laughed at that last one, but it made him feel like crying.

Leo hugged Maddie. He felt stupid for sacrificing himself, but he knew it was for a good cause. He looked at her sadly, and walked over to Hades. "Well, Hades. I'm your slave now. What do I do first?"

Percy woke up slowly. "What happened?" He murmured.
