Daniel nodded. "I would have."
Charlotte finally dragged herself to her feet and walked to Daniel. "It wasn't pure bad luck, you know." She sniffed.
"Of course it was. It wasn't like she just killed herself." Daniel said.
"Think again. She died trying to retrieve something. I told her she was going to die, but she wouldn't listen. She said she had to retrieve it, or her life wouldn't be worth living. Now, let's take a good long moment of silence to think this over. What could she possibly love this much?" Charlotte said.

"What did I say?" Charlotte asked.
Daniel shook his head. "He just....maybe he's mad that Maddie just killed herself over some stupid item."
Charlotte frowned. "It wasn't stupid. Hint, hint, wise guy. I know what it is. It'll all make sense soon. Until then, I'm going to go eat a burrito. Later." Charlotte walked away.
