"Are you still hung up on the world ending?" Daniel asked.
Maddie nodded. "It WILL end!"
"You're imagining things." Daniel said.
"No I'm not!"
"Try imagining it not ending."
Maddie was silent. Daniel left the infirmary.

Daniel walked to the infirmary, and Maddie was still sitting on the bed, staring at the wall.
"Why are you screaming?" Daniel asked.
"I just remembered that the world won't end!" Maddie exclaimed.
Daniel stared for a moment. "No offense Maddie, but you seem even slower than Percy."
Maddie nodded slowly. "I had a dream! Kronos took over the world and broke everything in half!"
"Mm. Yeah. Finally you remember it was just a dream." Daniel rolled his eyes.

Daniel smiled a bit. "At least you came back to your senses."
"Yeah." Maddie looked down.
"What is it?" Daniel asked, his smile fading.
"Ah, nothing. How long was I out?"
"A week."
Maddie's eyes widened in fear.
"What's so bad about a week? Not such a big deal." Daniel said.
"I know...it's just...never mind."
