Finally, Maddie's breathing slowed down so much she took one big breath every minute, and exhaled the next minute. The only thing that was on her mind was Leo the whole time. Was he okay??

Maddie's heart beat stopped one day. An Aphrodite kid checked her pulse and shook his head. "I think she's dead." He said quietly.
But then suddenly, Maddie's eyes opened. Her heart still wasn't beating.
The boy fainted.
Maddie frowned and slowly got up.

Maddie wobbled on her feet, and fell forward on her face. She stopped using so much energy, and went to her original form, which made her feel much, much better. This time, though, she has a strange supernatural blue glow around her, and the teeth next to her four front teeth were jagged, like a vampires. Maddie knocked on Leo's door carefully.

Maddie opened the door a crack. "Hey." She said quietly. She mustered a smile, but it looked extremely creepy with her sharp teeth, so she stopped smiling. "Sorry you had to see that." She muttered.
