The snake watched as Percy ran back towards the camp and waited until he was inside before coilling its entire body tightly onto the Minotaur. The snake made sure Percy wasn't in sight before it extended its fangs again, biting the minotaur's head clean off in a second.

As soon as the snake had finished off the minotaur it slithered its way to the camp entrance, seeing Percy run into a cabin. As the snake knew that Percy was now safe inside the camp and had liquified into the air, the blob of shadow rushing back to Eli.
