Maddie didn't say anything. Even with Percy, she didn't completely trust he wouldn't kill her. After all, she was always kind of keeping her eyes open for someone to stab her in the back. She looked over her shoulder quickly. Nope. No one trying to stab her right now. That's a relief. She continued to stare at her arm.

Maddie didn't say anything. She stayed in the infirmary for a few days, unmoving. She seemed to be getting sicker and sicker, weaker and weaker.
