A large drakon burst out of the trees, and tackled Percy.
Percy immediately morphed into a huge bear and attacked the drakon like it was life or death, which it probably was. The drakon was much stronger than Percy, but that didn't stop him.

Maddie took out her sword and jumped in front of the drakon's mouth, and cut it's nose.

The drakon backed up, but it didn't stop fighting. It hit Percy hard, throwing him to the ground.
Percy got right back up, even though he had a large cut over his eye. He continued to fight the drakon, until it gave up and ran back into the woods.

Maddie backed away from the drakon, and ran back to camp. She didn't make it back. She suddenly collapsed to her knees, and began shaking and coughing. She couldn't breathe. She fell on her side in agony.

Percy, still a bear, ran to Maddie, not knowing what to do. He roared gently, trying to see if Maddie was okay.

Maddie didn't say anything. She suddenly felt freezing cold. She kept coughing, hugging her stomach, suddenly feeling extremely nauseated.

"I-I d-don't t-think so..." Maddie muttered. She felt extremely sick. She hasn't been ill in like....forever. She was, like, immune to colds. Why did she feel sick now?

Thoughts ran through Maddie's mind, but she could barely focus on any. She felt stinging on her arm, and looked at it: 'No one will ever love you.' It was bleeding through her shirt, showing up in bright red letters. She hoped no one noticed it, but it kind of looked noticeable.

Percy had an idea. If Daniel happened to be in his cabin... no. Daniel wasn't so kind. But maybe he could help. Percy ran to the Ares cabin and knocked on the door.
