Eli got closer to it, close enough he could touch the monsters skin on its back. Elisilently pulled out his sword, he thought to himself 'Its better I kill it now, before it gets close to camp...' Eli thrusted the sword back and just before his sword reached the monster, it got up from the deer and looked straight at Eli.

The monster stood on its hind legs and snarled down at Eli, it leaped and tried tackling him. Eli disappeared in the shadows and came up behind the monster as it fell to the ground.

Eli tackled the monster to the ground and started wrestling it, then the monster opened its mouth to bite Eli, but as it did Eli pulled out his sword and stabbed the sword through the root of its mouth to the head. The monster went limp against him and Eli layed down, stuck under the monsters weight. He heard Percy and looked over at him, "Oh... Hey Percy..."
