"Ah, gods. Dang it!!" A voice shouted in the woods. "Festus, did you have to knock down those trees? I'm sure there was an easier way to kill that drakon!"

Maddie didn't say anything. She was so hungry....she spotted someone with a hotdog. FOOD. It was food. She needed food. A bottle of that delicious Coke wouldn't hurt, either.
"You done with that?" Maddie asked the person quietly.
The person jumped at the sight of Maddie, and backed up. "Uhm..." She said nervously.
"I'm not a mugger, I just need some food. I'm really hungry." Maddie said quietly.
"STALKER!! AHH!!" The person screamed, throwing her food everywhere. It hit the sidewalk, but it didn't stop Maddie from picking it back up and eating it. Still tasted good, even if it was a little-A LOT- dirty.

Maddie listened to the conversation intensely, but she was so tired, she could barely focus. She wolfed down the hotdog, while people looked all weird at her. She drank the whole bottle of Coke, even though the person already took a sip out of it. She was a stranger to the concept 'germs'. Whatever she had in her hands was edible, no matter how gross it was.

Maddie tried thinking about the conversation. Was that voice...Leo? Nah, it couldn't be, Maddie thought. You're going insane. She took a bag of chips from a man that wasn't paying attention as he read the newspaper, and ate them.

Maddie jumped. That has to be Leo, Maddie thought. It just has to be.
"Hold my chips." Maddie told the man, standing up and giving the chip bag to him.
"Uh, okay-wait, those are MY chips!" The man yelled. "Hey, police! She stole my chips!"
"They were just a pathetic bag of chips." Maddie rolled her eyes. "It isn't that bad."

"I'll steal them again." Maddie said angrily.
A policeman came over. "Maybe a bag of potato chips isn't too bad, but what about the other crimes, Hills?"
"Darn it." Maddie muttered.

"I missed you, too." Maddie said, hugging him back. "But...we got a situation."
"She stole something again!" The policeman said.
"I was HUNGRY! I didn't eat anything all week!" Maddie yelled at him.
The policeman took out his taser, but Maddie grabbed it and broke it in half.

The policeman blinked, registering the iris-message. "...What's that?"
"Something." Maddie said. "Hold on a second, Percy. Ahh, look, a burglar!!!"
"Where!?" The policeman whipped around, and Maddie threw a brick at his head. The policeman fell down.
"He's an idiot." Maddie said. "That barely ever works."
