Maddie pulled her hood all the way over her face, and snuck inside the dining pavilion. She grabbed a loaf of bread, and it looked too good to wait, so she ate it. It made a louder crunching sound than expected. She cringed, hoping no one heard that.

(Aw, okay! I have to eat breakfast anyways, I'll see you in maybe an hour or less.)
"Leo, I have a hollowed out heart, and even I can't find it anymore. And I'm sorry about that, but you know if there's anything that I could do I would've done it a long time ago. I was brought here to make things worse, and I guess you could say I succeeded. But I'm sorry about that, okay?" Maddie said quietly, still staring at the ground.
