"Yep!" Maddie said, but then her smile slowly faded. "Um, yeah, it worked. Let's go find Percy." She got in the time machine.

"The British." The little girl said, holding her gun close. "Hey, and when you shoot, watch out for the recoil. That's how I broke my nose."

"I hope so, too." Maddie set the dial for the correct time and location, and time machine disappeared along with Maddie and Leo.

The little girl nodded.
"Redcoat up ahead!" A soldier yelled.
"Fire at will!!" The big man bellowed. "Until each and everyone of them are gone!!! Hear me!?"

The time machine reappeared a few feet away from the battle field. There was a loud gun shot, and a man collapsed.
"FIRE!!" The big man yelled hysterically.
The little girl shot her gun, in unison to all the other big soldiers. She looked scarier than all of them, her eyes filled with coldness.

Percy was surprised that he shot a Redcoat on his first try, has it was his first try with a gun.

An angry young soldier stormed up to the little girl. "Why did you lock me in the closet?!" He yelled as he shot his gun at a Redcoat.
"You're going to die out here!!" The little girl yelled at him, shooting her gun again. "I can't let you die!! I...I love you!! You're my big brother!!"

Maddie stared at the brutal scene, then picked up a rifle and shot it at a Redcoat like it was an instinct.

"Whoa." Leo said as Maddie shot the Redcoat. "Okay, we really need to find Percy."

"He's right!" The soldier yelled. "DUCK!!"
The little girl ducked as a bullet shot over her head. "HEY!!" She yelled. "It's NOT NICE TO SHOOT PEOPLE!!" She shot her gun.

"Yeah," Maddie said, running to the battle field and dodging bullets.

The little girl kept shooting and reloading, but it was a little hard. She was afraid her brother would die.

"I don't know!" Maddie said.
"Hey, girly!! Get off the freaking field!!" A Redcoat yelled at Maddie.
"Who you calling girly?!" Maddie yelled, shooting him in the face.

Leo frowned. "C'mon, Maddie! We need to find him!"

Percy kept shooting the Redcoats, until a bullet hit him in the chest. He fell to the ground.

The little girl gasped as she saw Percy fall. "Are you okay?!" She asked.

"Hey!!" The little girl yelled at the soldier that shot Percy. She loaded her gun and aimed it at him.
"Please, don't shoot!" The soldier begged. "Please!"
"You killed Percy! Of course I'm going to shoot! You're going to kill all of us!" The little girl yelled.
"Please, I won't!! Trust me!" The soldier yelled.
Here comes the end, Maddie thought. The death of me.

The little girl lowered her gun slowly, pointing it at the ground. "Fine." She said.
"Sucker." The soldier muttered. "Girls don't belong in the war, sweetie! Go rot in the underworld!" He shot the little girl in the chest.

Maddie scowled, but it wasn't a shocker. Everyone was dead silent for a moment, in shock. Yeah, be shocked, Maddie thought. That's how I died. I falsely trusted someone.
"I'll get you out of the underworld, Maddie!" A boy shouted from the lines of soldiers. "I promise!"
"Oh, shut up!" Maddie yelled at the boy. "You won't! You never do!"

There was silence again, then the little girl's big brother yelled: "Off with his head, I say! He killed my little sis and Percy!! Of with his head!" He loaded his gun, and shot him square in the chest. "Ha, bullseye!"
Everyone cheered.
"But there's still a major problem," Maddie frowned. "Percy is dead!!!"

Maddie zoomed back about ten minutes, when the soldier was chewing out the little girl for locking him in a closet:
An angry young soldier stormed up to the little girl. "Why did you lock me in the closet?!" He yelled as he shot his gun at a Redcoat.
"You're going to die out here!!" The little girl yelled at him, shooting her gun again. "I can't let you die!! I...I love you!! You're my big brother!!"
"I think this is pretty good," Maddie said.
