"Percy, you can sleep on the couch." The little girl said, pointing over to a couch. "Sorry, we don't have a guest bedroom. We're saving up for food. Another thing: we're poor." The little girl ran to her room.

The next morning, at five, everyone was fully awake. The little girl was making boiled eggs, and screaming whenever a hot splash of water dropped on her and created a third degree burn.

"Viper, wake Percy up." The little girl said, taking out the boiled eggs.
Viper slithered on Percy, and hissed in his face.
"Don't bite him." The little girl added, putting the boiled eggs on plates.

Viper hissed again, loudly.

Maddie opened her eyes. "Whoa..." She muttered to herself. "Wait...I'm supposed to be dead!" She touched her face. Of course. She was reincarnated. She pulled out a mirror, and saw she had straight brown hair, gray eyes, and pale skin. Great. And she had a British accent. Well, she normally did, but she covered it up. She ran to Leo's cabin and pounded on the door. "Leo!!" She yelled, cringing at her British accent.

"Yes!" Maddie waved her hands around. "I'm Maddie!" She looked down, and saw she was wearing a dress. "AHH!!" She screamed in pure horror, although when you had a British accent, even screaming sounded cool.

"Scout! You try!" The little girl said as she bit into a boiled egg, testing to see if it was good.
Scout hopped on the couch, and barked very loudly in Percy's face.

"Yeah, I am!" Maddie said. Her credit card fell out of her pocket, and in big bold letters, it said Juliet Crawford. She frowned. "Har har, Aphrodite. Really." She grabbed her credit card and stuffed it in her pocket. "Ignore that. I'm Maddie, not Juliet Crawford. Even though that name sounds pretty cool."

"Okay, extreme measures." The little girl said. She hopped on top of Percy and yelled: "WAKE UP!!!!!"

"You're awake!" The little girl beamed. "Here's your breakfast!" She gave him a bowl with a boiled egg in it.

"To the time machine!" Maddie said, still cringing at the British accent. She was going to fix that later. Along with the dress. Ew. She rather wear her dad's clothes. Again, she was going to fix that later also. Maddie picked the lock to her dad's house in five seconds, which kind of proved she did it a billion times. "Dad!!" Maddie yelled.
Maddie's dad popped out. "Whoa! Who are you?!"

Maddie's dad was silent for a moment. Then he said: "I destroyed the time machine. Why do you need to use it, anyways?"
Maddie's eyes were wide for a moment, then yelled: "AHHH!!!! Percy's stuck in the freaking seventeen hundreds!"
"Well, it wasn't very smart to do that." Maddie's dad said.
Maddie was silent, probably cussing in her head.
