"Maybe both..." Maddie said. "Ooh! I could threaten to take over Olympus! No, wait, they would get even more mad.....now I'm stumped." Before Maddie could say anything else, there was a loud crash. Maddie jumped to her feet and swung her cabin door open.

"I gave my sword to some girl..." Maddie said. "Oops." She was about to just yell at the monster to go away, but she realized that would be 'using her powers'. Maddie took a step back as a drakon crashed into camp. "We might be in trouble...."

The drakon snapped it's jaws, about an inch away from Leo's face, when Maddie made a horrible hissing noise that made the ground shake. The drakon slowly turned. Maddie's eyes were white. She hissed again. The drakon roared back, and snapped at Maddie's arm. There was a horrible crunching noise, but Maddie just clenched her jaw.

Maddie didn't say anything. There was a searing pain. Maddie clenched her fists, jumped up on the drakon, and broke it's jaw.

The drakon screeched, but couldn't really do anything with a broken jaw. Maddie snapped her fingers, and just like that, it disintegrated and died.

Aphrodite immediately glared at Maddie, and looked even angrier when she saw Leo. "You broke the rule! You already got punished once! What should we do this time?" She looked at all the other gods and goddesses. Before anyone could speak, she yelled "I KNOW!! Let's kill Leo! Or-"
"No!" Maddie said. "Isn't there anyway to stop the prophecy and the whole monster-goddess thing?"
"Yes-no." Aphrodite said quickly. "Nope. No, no."
"You said yes." Maddie said suspiciously.
"Fine." Aphrodite sighed. "The prophecy said if you jumped off the top floor of the empire state building, the prophecy would immediately be lifted."
"Wait, right after I jump? That means I would die once I hit the lake..." Maddie said quietly. She remembered the dream. Everyone yelling for her to jump....slowly dying....
