Once everyone was in the car, Daniel began to drive. He on purposely locked the car so Annabeth couldn't escape. After only an hour, there was a crash, and a hydra landed in front of the car. Abby screamed, and Daniel jumped.

There was a scream, and a girl fell on the windshield of the car. She grinned and waved. "Hiya!! I'm Charlotte!!"
The hydra lurched forward and scratched Charlotte across the face.
"ow!!!" Charlotte screeched.

Daniel jumped out of the car with his sword. The hydra snapped at Daniel, and Daniel ducked his head. "Whoa!" He swung his sword, and scraped the hydra. The hydra screeched in pain.

The hydra tried to bite Daniel, but with a hard stab, the hydra screeched and died.
"Like a boss!" Daniel exclaimed happily.
"Ugh..." Charlotte rubbed her head. "Sorry for falling on your windshield. The glass is really strong! I'm Maddie's friend."

Daniel kept driving, until someone randomly stepped onto the road. "Whoa!!" Daniel exclaimed. He swiveled out of the way, and crashed into a lamp post. The stupid air bags came up, and Abby screamed a bad word.

"Ugh. Flang-a-dang air bags." Daniel muttered. "Is everyone okay?!"
"MY MAKEUP IS MESSED UP!!!" Abby whined.
"Put a can in it!" Daniel yelled. Then the lamp post squeaked, and fell over onto the car. Abby and Daniel screamed. A spark from the lamppost fell on the car, and the car went on fire.
"Everyone get out!!" Daniel yelled.

Annabeth and Leo rushed out of the car. Leo looked horrified, and Annabeth looked extremely angry. She looked like she could kill someone.
