Leo rolled his eyes. "Charlie, nobody appreciates your tone."
(Aww, bye!)

"Nobody appreciates you," Charlie snapped back.
"I don't appreciate this situation," Maddie said. "C'mon, guys."

Leo sighed, staying next to Maddie.
Dan kept angrily staring at Charlie, tempted to hurt him.

Dan looked away, deciding that hurting Charlie would be a stupid idea. Even though he didn't know what time it was, he decided it was getting late. "We should stop for the night," Dan said.

"Is it nighttime?" Charlie said, in a faraway, dramatic voice. "I can't tell, in The Void."
"Let's now refer to Tartarus as The Void," Maddie announced.
"I have crippling depression," Charlie said, "in The Void."
"You always have depression."
Charlie ignored Maddie. "Yeah, let's stop, I'm tired."

Leo sighed, laying down.
Dan played down, too, although he didn't fall asleep at all, despite how tired he was, and in the morning, he was nowhere to be seen, although the TARDIS was suddenly nearby.

In the morning, Maddie gasped. "The TARDIS!"
Charlie yawned, rubbing his eyes. "What about it!"
Maddie jumped to her feet. "I hope it's the Tenth Doctor! He's hot!"

Leo woke up, still looking sleepy, and said, "what's going on?"
There was hushed voices inside the TARDIS, including Dan's. He sounded angry. Along with the whispering, there was the sound of small hooves, which made Leo even more confused.
"-can't see me like this!" Dan whispered angrily.
"You are pretty adorable, though," another voice, presumably The Doctor's, said. He opened the door, and gave Dan a gentle push outside. And well... Dan looked different. Instead of a human, he took the form of something entirely different. Hooves, feathery wings, and a mark of a Greek Delta on his flank.
"This is why we don't travel to dimensions that aren't human!" Dan shouted at The Doctor.
Leo held back intense laughter.

Maddie suppressed a smile. "Ahaha . . . how do we change him back?"

"I don't know," The Doctor said, stroking Dan's blue-gray fur. "But he is pretty adorable like this."
"I'm not adorable," Dan muttered. "And it's not funny."

" . . . As funny as this is," Maddie said, "it's going to be a problem in Tartarus. Dan is the best-"
Charlie coughed.
"One of the best fighters," Maddie said.

"No kidding," Dan muttered. "I can't fight with hooves. And it doesn't help that now I'm even shorter than Maddie."
"Well, at least Maddie's no longer the shortest one here," Leo said.

Maddie gasped, her eyes shining. "You're right!"
"That's because he's on all fours, though," Charlie pointed out. "On his hind legs, he's still taller."
Maddie sighed. "Why do you have to crush my dreams, Charlie?"

Dan rolled his eyes. "Well, there's nothing we can do about this right now so we might as well keep going."

Dan sighed, and started walking, feeling awkward. He stumbled quite a bit, obviously not used to being on four legs.

"Why don't we just leave him?" Charlie asked.
"He could die," Maddie said. "C'mon, we have to stick together."

"I'm not afraid to hurt you, Charlie," Dan muttered.
"Yeah, but can you even hurt him while you're stuck like that?" Leo smirked.
"Don't push it, Valdez," Dan snarled.

"Go ahead and fight me, but you're bringing a knife to a gun fight," Charlie said.
Maddie sighed, simply taking out a tub of pink frosting and anxiously eating it.

Dan tried to kick Charlie with his hind legs, but failed at doing so. He clumsily fell over instead.
Leo chuckled, enjoying Dan's struggle.

"Leo, you ruined my mood the moment I met you," Dan commented.

"Why are you so grouchy all of a sudden," Leo frowned.
