Dan sighed, getting up. He looked a little dizzy, but other than that he seemed fine.
Leo walked into the room. "Well, we better start heading towards the entrance to Tartarus." He stared at Dan, looking confused.
"What?" Dan asked, raise his eyebrow.
"Is that a hair on your chin?"
"What, what?" Dan said, looking surprised.

"Well, we better get going," Leo said. He and Dan headed out through the door, and after a few minutes of walking, they were in a small town filled with many, many tourists.
Dan suddenly paused, looking terrified. "****. We need to get out of here."
"Dude, what's wrong?" Leo scowled.
"My dad and stepmother are here," Dan muttered. "I can't let this see me. They don't know about the testosterone or anything."

Dan narrowed his eyes at Leo, his face turning red from anger. "I swear, if you call me that one more time-"
"Dude, chill," Leo said, placing his hand on Dan's chest to keep him from getting any closer to him. "We need to keep going."

"Do you remember our Daniel?" Charlie asked quietly, so as to not let Dan or Leo hear.
"Homie from Boston?" Maddie asked, nodding. "Yeah, of course."
"You think he's still doing okay?" Charlie asked.
"Mm, yeah, probably," Maddie shrugged. "You guys had a gay thing going on, right?"
"What?!"
"Yeah, like . . . " Maddie made vague hand gestures.
Charlie seemed a little disgusted, and lowered his voice even further. " . . . I'm asexual."
Maddie looked shocked. "Dude!!"
