"What's the problem?" Charlie asked.
"Dan overdosed, remember?" Maddie frowned.
"Who's Dan?"
Maddie gestured towards Dan. "Him."
"When did he overdose?"
"Are you trying to be stupid? Because this isn't funny," Maddie said.
Charlie still looked wildly confused and incredibly irritated. He shook his head. "I don't remember . . ."
