Maddie couldn't hear Leo over the woman's shrieking. A policeman glanced over at Maddie, and did a double-take before looking away. "Shut up!!" Maddie hissed at the woman. "You're going to get me in trouble! I'm already in enough trouble with the police!"
That just made the woman scream even more. Maddie sighed and jumped off of the car.
