Moon fell for what looked like forever, then she disappeared behind mist that looked like was rising over the streets. Many cars were beeping, unable to see where they were going. Something strange was going on. The land under Maddie and Leo was beginning to crack.

Maddie began slowly waking up. "Are we dead yet?" She muttered. She looked down at the long drop, and yelped. "Great. We're not dead yet." Then she looked around, and frowned. "Okay, my vision is really fuzzy, but...where's Moon?"

"How are we going to stay on?!" Maddie asked. The ground cracked a bit more, and Maddie slid off. She quickly grabbed onto the flooring, but her weight hanging on the side was just making it crack more quickly.

After a few feet, Maddie disappeared in the mist below. The flooring stopped cracking without Maddie holding on.

Maddie finally crashed through someone's windshield. The woman screamed.
"Uh, sorry! I can pay for that..." Maddie reached for her wallet, then cringed. "Oh, wait, I didn't bring my wallet. Umm..."
The woman kept shrieking.
"Geez, you're acting like a teenage girl never crashed through your windshield!!" Maddie frowned.
