The iris-message was fuzzy. Maddie was talking to Moon in a very low voice.
"You sure it'll work?" Maddie asked Moon quietly.
"I'm sure." Moon turned to the iris-message. "Holy Hades, turn that thing off."
"No, it's Leo." Maddie waved at Leo. "Hey Leo!"

"I can't." Maddie said. "We're on a mission." Maddie looked at Moon. "And by close...what does that mean?"
"Close as in...duck." Moon said, pushing Maddie's head down.
A sword flung in the wall where Maddie's head would've been.
"Oh gods." Maddie muttered.

"Yeah, well it's either I get killed, or the camp gets killed." Maddie said. "And I wouldn't mind the camp getting killed, but you're in the camp, so that means you would get killed."
There was loud sounds outside, sounding a bit like a very, very angry Pegasus.
"Maddie, get your knife." Moon said, taking out her arrowhead.

"Somewhere in New York." Maddie said. "I'm not exactly sure."
A Pegasus flew in, a murderous glint in it's eyes. It's hoof hit Moon in the forehead, and Moon screeched in pain.
"Getting killed by a Pegasus?! Seriously?! This is so embarrassing!!" Moon yelled.

The iris-message disappeared, and the Pegasus snorted, and hit a ceiling lamp. The lamp fell with a spark, and a fire started.
"Fire?!" Moon backed up, looking scared.
"Just stay away from it." Maddie said. She looked at Moon, and she looked more terrified than Maddie would expect. "Dude! Are you scared?"

Leo walked around for a while, until he heard the sound of hooves behind him. He turned around, and saw Blackjack.
"What are you doing here?" Leo asked.
Blackjack winnied angrily, loud enough for the entire city to hear.

The fire spread quickly. Maddie was silent, staring at the flames, and thinking.

Moon didn't say anything. She stared at the flames.
The Pegasus whinnied angrily, and kicked Maddie in the head. Maddie fell back, feeling dizzy. "That wasn't nice..." Maddie muttered, rubbing her head.

"Uh...sort of." Maddie said. Everything looked blurry, and Maddie blacked out.
Moon stared at the flames, looking terrified. An ash touched her foot, and she started shrieking like she was being murdered.
The Pegasus whinnied at Blackjack, and kicked him back.

Moon nodded slowly. "Uh-huh." She said.
The Pegasus snorted angrily and flew away. He kicked the ceiling fan, and it fell down, breaking the ceiling and floor along with it.
Moon frowned. "We might want to get out before-"
Moon couldn't finish her sentence, because an electrical spark exploded, and the ground she was standing on broke.

Maddie finally came conscious, even though her vision was very bad. "Uh...what's going on?" She asked.
"Go back to sleep, Mads." Moon said.
Maddie looked around at the falling apart building, and went unconscious again.
