Maddie flung open the door, ready to karate chop anyone. Rain poured on her head. She sighed. She looked down, and saw a wet package. She hoped it was waterproof. Carefully, she picked up the package, and stepped inside her cabin.

"It was when I found out I was a demigod." Maddie said. "Found out a long, long while back, but I was too ignorant to care. The teacup smashed on the floor, and I almost began to cry, but then my stepmom began to yell at me, so I didn't. She was the only thing that ever kept me from crying when I was little."
