The girl left yet again. Two more weeks passed, and Maddie still didn't wake up. Once a day the girl would come in, and lose even more hope of Maddie waking up.

"She's never going to wake up," The girl told Chiron. "She's taking up a spot in the infirmary. We have to bury her."
"Now, she might wake up." Chiron said.
"What if she doesn't? That's more likely."
Chiron was silently, then said: "Very well, then."

Maddie was decided as dead, and buried near the forest, as the girl said: "She liked the forest more than she liked us."
Most of the Aphrodite kids were silent for a few days, creeped out and confused by Maddie's sudden coma and supposed death.

Another week passed, and not only the Aphrodite kids were the confused ones. Many were talking who was the one that injected Maddie, and why. It was scariest for the Aphrodite kids, because whoever injected her HAD to be stealthy. Maddie was a light sleeper. How did she not wake up if a needle got stuck in her arm?

That night, a horrible thunder storm came. Freezing rain poured down, and no one came out of their cabin. A depressing night that fit a depressing mood. Something strange was happening that night, though, and no one knew it.

There was footsteps in the Aphrodite cabin. Everyone woke up, trying to find the source of the noise. There was the sound of someone eating something.

"Ahh!! It's a monster!! Kill it!" A boy yelled.
There was a crash, and a dirty girl was lying on the floor with her hands on her head. Or, at least it looked like a girl. She was extremely dirty and skinny, and she looked pretty cold.

"Who are you?" A girl yelled.
The girl on the floor didn't respond. She slowly got to her feet. You couldn't even see what she looked like, because she was wearing a mask and a hood that drooped over her face. Plus all the dirt that covered her. The girl was completely silent, like she was thinking.

"Answer us, or we'll assume you're here for no good," The boy growled, taking out his knife and pointing it at the girl.
The girl silently took out her gun and aimed it at him, which made the boy drop his knife.

The girl looked at Percy, but it was hard to tell since her eyes weren't showing underneath her hood. She silently walked out of the Aphrodite cabin, which made everyone do a sigh of relief in unison, especially the boy who was against the wall.

The girl stopped and pinched herself, and sighed. After a few minutes, she finally turned to Percy and said in a small voice: "I was really hoping I was dreaming. Dang it. I'm awake, aren't I?"
