Maddie looked around. "Er, I didn't exactly think of that....?" She fished through her pockets. "I must have taken SOMETHING to get us home...ah, yes." She pulled out a little pearl. "Crush it in your palm, and it'll take us directly to camp."

Maddie didn't say anything, she just stared at the long drop. How come the whistle triggered her greatest fear? Then something dawned on her.
"He was supposed to blow the whistle," She muttered to Aphrodite, but it looked like she was talking to herself. "Wasn't he?"

Maddie nodded. "That's what she wanted you to do." She said. "She wanted you to blow the whistle, so it would trigger one of your greatest fear." She said, noting that she said 'one of them'. Not 'absolute scariest.' The absolute scariest was....well, too scary.
