Heather was gone, off to visit her relatives in Scotland and Ireland. A bit sad of not getting a chance to say goodbye to anyone.

Maddie nodded and followed Leo. "Ok."
Even though she was covered in soot and virtually black from the fire, Daniel could see she looked a lot different. She was taller, her hair was now straight and shorter, while it was naturally curly. She was wearing a fancy dress. Daniel wondered if they made her do that, or if she changed while she was gone. Worst of all, did she find other friends? He couldn't shake the feeling. He decided to talk to Leo about it later.

Daniel was still thinking if Maddie changed when she went back to her cabin to shower. Daniel walked up to Leo.

"When I saw her, I got a little worried....even after we realized she was alive. She looked like she changed. She was dressed fancier, her hair was now ironed instead of curly, and she was wearing make up. That's not like her." Daniel said.

Maddie was sitting on her bed, putting back her things. She put on her pajamas and laid down. She heard Daniel and Leo faintly, and wondered what they were talking about. She shrugged and opened her book.

Maddie nodded. "Still coughing a little, but I'm fine. I'm glad I'm back here."

Daniel was sitting on his bed. He couldn't stop thinking about Maddie. He finally got her back here.....what if he was too late? What if Maddie forgot all about them?

Daniel fell asleep.

Maddie accidently fell asleep, but woke up at 3 A.M because she felt eyes staring at her. She yawned and got up. She saw a girl in her room. At first she thought it was an iris-message, but she soon discovered it wasn't. She jumped to her feet. She was about to scream, when the girls rushed towards her.
"Don't scream." She whispered. "Please. Don't. Scream."

Percy fell asleep quickly, but he woke up many times in the night due to nightmares about the war. He gave up on sleeping and stared st the ceiling.
