"Is the back of my mouth supposed to be hurting so badly after a stroke?" Dan asked bluntly.

Charlie laid down on the floor and let out an ear-piercing scream.
"Oh my god," Tara closed her eyes.
"I hate doing things," Charlie said, rolling over onto his stomach.

Charlie rolled over. "She's my favorite person," he said. He rolled over and bent down on one knee, taking Tara's hand. "Besides you, my love. How beautiful you are when you yell at me and say mean things. Will you let me take your hand in marr-"
Tara laughed, swatting at Charlie. "Oh, for Pete's sake. Dan, would you like to schedule your wisdom teeth removal now?"
