"Let's go now, Annabeth," Celeste said, not wanting a fight to start.

"No," Maddie said, and tried to close the door, but Daniel held it open.

"It is," Daniel said.
Maddie frowned. She turned on the small TV, and flipped through channels until she got to the news.
"--who went into hiding, only to be seen a year ago robbing a bank," a woman on the television announced. "He has been spotted again, shouting at one of his twins Abby Hills, who previously went on to be a model and actor."
"I..." Maddie scowled. "Who's this about?!"
Celeste backed into a corner of the elevator, seeming afraid.

Celeste ran towards the smell of smoke, and once she got close her eyes started smarting. All the mortals just walked by like it was an average day, ignoring the huge fire.

"Me, too," Celeste said. She saw a small figure running across the burning pieces of wood. The figure was actually on fire, but it didn't seem to be bothered.

The figure turned, dark her spilling over her shoulders, almost reaching her waist. She gestured at Annabeth and Celeste like, 'Come on up!'
Celeste frowned. "Christiana?!"
