"Thanks," Christiana said, and held Amelia's hand. "Let's go." She had only walked a few steps before Maddie was in front of her, glaring at her. She was wearing a black dress that went slightly below her knees and her hair looked noticeably better.
"I said you weren't allowed to go, Christiana," Maddie said angrily.
"Wow, Maddie, you look beautiful tonight," Christiana said nervously.
