Willow Iris-messaged Maddie. She was about to speak, when she noticed Charlie, and she decided to just watch. Especially since Charlie was wearing a blood-stained tuxedo, and Maddie's clothes were shredded.
"I told you this was a bad idea!" Maddie hissed at Charlie. "What are we doing?! And you still haven't told me why you dressed all fancy like you're in an Iggy Azalea song."
Charlie rolled his eyes. "This wasn't a bad idea."
"Right. It was the worst."
"Seriously. Relax. I got this, Little Maddie."
"Don't call me Little Maddie."

"Shh," Willow murmured.
Maddie and Charlie didn't seem to notice Leo. They walked into a long, dark hallway, and then they were in a gloomy room with Hades in it, chained to a wall.
"So you came here to watch me while I'm down, huh?" Hades muttered. "Without death, there's no limits. Without limits...well, mortals are probably running free right now."
"We came to watch my dad suffer?" Maddie frowned. "As much as I love watching people writhe in pain, I really have better things to do."
"Maddie," Charlie said, "what's the last thing you remember?"
"Leo being mad at me," Maddie said. "And then you knocked me out and dragged me here."
Charlie shook his head. "Gaea took your soul. We're here to get it back, but don't think I care about you or anything stupid like that."

"Not exactly," Charlie admitted. "Since Hades is tied up here, I don't know exactly what you are but I don't want to know what'll happen if we don't get your soul. And-" He paused, noticing Willow and Leo. "...Well, hello."
Willow glared at Charlie. "You left Mom and I."
Maddie suddenly seemed really interested in staring at the ground.

Maddie suddenly looked furious. "This isn't about you, you son of a bi-"
"No swearing at gods, Maddie," Charlie snapped.
"I was totally going to say son of a biscuit," Maddie said sarcastically. "Breakfast food related insults for the win."
Charlie jabbed Maddie with his elbow. "To answer your question, Leo, we're getting Maddie's soul back."

Charlie rolled his eyes. A male voice that sounded like Harry's shouted something from a distance, and he ran towards the noise.
Maddie sighed. "Leo, we need to talk."
"We just need the directions to Steve," Willow snapped.
"Shh," Celeste kissed Annabeth's forehead. "You can rest."
