"Celeste, or Maddie?" Chris asked. "Maddie's in the infirmary. I think she's trying to choke Tara but the infirmary people sort of have it under control. I was hoping Leo could talk to her about not killing friends because he's the least likely to be shot."

"Let go of me!" Maddie screamed at Tara, reaching for a gun.
Bob and Abby were desperately trying to pin her against the infirmary bed, looking scared.

Leo followed Chris, looking nervous.
Annabeth shoved Bob and Abby away from Maddie. She pinned Maddie against the wall, and shouted, "What did you do to Celeste, you *****?!" She began beating Maddie hard.

Maddie tried to wriggle out of Annabeth's grasp, cussing.
Bob grabbed Annabeth's throat and tried to choke her, but Abby punched him in the head. Soon, a full blown fight started in the infirmary, and Chris looked afraid and confused.

Annabeth scowled, but she kept on beating Maddie up.

Maddie shot Annabeth in the stomach twice, and then shot her in the shoulder, insanity and wild panic flashing in her eyes.

Abby pressed the heels of her hands against her forehead. "That's it. We're all going to die."
"Dang right," Maddie murmured, and shot Abby in the thigh. She looked like she was going to shoot her again when she suddenly started vomiting blood on the floor. When she finished she screamed into her knees, and threw up again.
"You just HAD to attack her?!" Chris shouted at Annabeth, but it was hard to yell at a dying person. "What the Hades?! You don't attack a crazy person!"
Maddie sobs became louder.
