"Don't worry, Maddie," Annabeth said. "You'll be fine." Her Pegasus bolted into the air, followed by Leo. After an hour of flying, Annabeth muttered a dirty word.
"What's wrong?" Leo asked.
"We're entering the territory of the Sirens," Annabeth said. "Cover your ears. I can handle this."
"Are you sure?" Leo asked.
"Leo, I can handle this just fine."
"Annabeth, that's your hubris speaking."
