"This is a change in events," Maddie said angrily, grabbing a handful of cake. She threw the cake at the girl that kidnapped Annabeth, and dumped a pitcher of punch on her. "You're so bloody annoying! Why can't you ever just go away for good?!"

"OMG, Maddie, I have a fantastic idea," Celeste said. "What if we gang up all the dangerous girls and beat her up?"

"I have my baseball bat!" Moon said excitedly, taking out a baseball bat.
"Can I use my bow and arrow?" Christiana asked.

Maddie grinned wickedly, and slashed violently at the girl with her sharp dagger. Celeste shocked the girl with lightning, Moon kept smacking the girl with the baseball bat, and Christiana was shooting arrows skillfully around everybody and at the girl's neck.

The girl dodged every attack aimed towards her. Annabeth nearly stabbed her, but she looked away too soon. The girl took out her own knife, and stabbed Annabeth in the back. Annabeth staggered, then collapsed, but not before she stabbed the girl, killing her.

Moon grabbed Annabeth, and carried her to the infirmary.
"What's going to happen to her?!" Celeste sobbed, running into the infirmary.
Maddie felt her eyes stinging, but she pushed down the feeling of sadness and hugged Celeste. Christiana's bottom lip also began to quiver, and Maddie pulled her into the hug.

Moon nodded, and ran off. She came back with an Apollo girl, who scowled. "That looks serious." She grabbed many bandages and injections, and applied them to Annabeth.
Soon enough, Moon began to cry, too. Maddie groaned, and tried to fit her in the hug, stressed out by all her wailing friends.

The Apollo girl looked down. "I don't know if I can sa-"
"Well try!" Maddie suddenly screamed, making Celeste, Moon, and Christiana cringe. "We can't afford negative thoughts like that, because if you haven't noticed, more than half of the people here are sobbing their bloody eyes out!"
The Apollo girl's eyes widened, looking slightly fearful for a moment, and went back to healing Annabeth, inching away from Maddie.

"You get to annoy her all you want on the quest tomorrow," Christiana muttered. "It's not fair."
"Yeah, but you can annoy everybody else at camp while I'm gone," Maddie said, walking out of the infirmary.
"You'll give Annabeth and Leo a headache for me, right?" Christiana asked.
