Scarlet ran around camp announcing that Laiea was dead.

When Bella went back to her cabin, she checked her email. Her mom emailed her.
Hey hon, I got you into this really good finishing school. It's in beverly hills, California. Call me for details. Love mom.
Bella called her mom. "Hi. . ." She said uncertainly.
"Bella! What do you think about the boarding school?" Her mom asked.
"I think you have bad connection. You didn't say BOARDING school did you?" Bella asked.
"Yeah sweetie, I did." Her mom said lightly. Bella started pacing anxiously.
"In Beverly Hills." Bella stated.
"Mhm." Her mom said.
"O M G O S H!" Bella squealed happily.
"Is that a yes?" Her mom asked.
"Yes!!!" Bella yelled.
"Well can I pick you up in a week?"
"Whatever."
They both hung up. Bella texted Annabelle and Scarlet the good news.

Annabelle was at Khiones castle for the week and Scarlet was with two of her half sisters, Drew and Caitlin, debating that you have to match your nail polish with your clothes. Scarlet and Drew said yes, but Caitlin said no.
'Finishing school' Annabelle texted Bella. She was sitting in her room. It had magazines thrown all over the floor and clothes on lampshades.
'Yes' Bella texted her back.
'In Beverly Hills' Annabelle said, ignoring Khione and Mr. Three Syllable arguing.
'I said that' Bella typed and hit the send button.
'You will be gone for THREE YEARS?????" Annabelle answered.
'I can't give this up' Bella texted, sighing in frustration.
'!!!!!" Annabelle typed that with 3 frowny faces and waited.
'My moms picking me up next monday' Bella informed her with a book emoji.

The girl frowned. "Uh....did you hit your head or something?"
"Yes, I did. But that isn't the point." Maddie said.
The sound of papers flying and scratching everywhere occurred in the closet, and Maddie sighed angrily. "This is so frustrating..." Maddie muttered.

"Okay, fine." Maddie sighed. "You know how after, like, forever, when I was brought back from the dead when I was eleven? Well, at first I lived my life normally, trying to figure out how to live in the twenty first century, then it almost seemed as if a year of my life is missing. I went from eleven to thirteen. I don't have any memory from when I was twelve."
