"Yeah. I got a prophecy that I was going to take over the world, and kill everyone because I will grow more powerful than the gods. And, I brought Leo back to life." Maddie said, leading Annabeth to Leo's cabin.

Maddie sat on her bed. "How can I be evil?" She whispered. She picked up a mirror, and stared at herself. Greenish blue eyes, blonde hair, tan skin. She looked like a normal little sweet girl. "See? I'm not evil." She said. "I'm not...." Then in the mirror, the image rippled and changed. People were screaming and dying. Blood was splattering everywhere. Maddie was standing in the middle, grinning. Maddie screamed in horror and dropped the mirror. She started crying.

Maddie didn't say anything. She didn't think anything could get fixed anymore. Since a few days ago, it just felt like all her hope got washed away. Like the whole world was angry at her, and like she was always doing something wrong.
