The surgeon checked his papers. "Yep. She'll awaken-"
Maddie stepped out of the surgery room. "Hey! My chest feels freaking better! Thanks doc!"
The surgeon stared at her. "In all my years.....Miss, how are you awake and feeling well?"
Maddie shrugged. "Why question awesomeness?"

Maddie frowned. "That's booooorrrrriiiinnnngggg....I want to get out of here!" She stamped her foot angrily. "Now!!"

Maddie quickly wrote something on the paper. "Can I get out of this depressing place now?"

"Miss, it's unusual for a patient to feel better right after waking up." The surgeon said.
"Like, once in a blue moon unusual. 0% of chance of happening." A surgeon said.
Maddie giggled. "Hey, that was my score on my last science test! Don't mention that to my dad, though!"

"No, I didn't put any at all." The surgeon said, obviously baffled. "What's wrong with her? She's like, supernatural."
"Watch it, punk." Maddie snapped. "Anyways, see ya later!" She picked up Annabeth and ran out of the hospital, still wearing her hospital bracelet.

"Oh yeah baby, I'm mental!" Maddie screamed. She ran all the way back to camp half blood, with the surgeons yelling after her and calling her 'insane'.

Maddie looked down at the papers, and nearly had a heart attack. Abby donated her heart to Maddie? Why? Maddie panted. Then all the wonders came through to her. She just woke up from heart and cancer surgery. She survived. She woke up a few hours before expected. She wasn't cranky. And she could run five miles. What the heck was wrong with her? The grass around her died, and she sat down. A lot of things, she thought. Many, many, many things are wrong with you.
