Maddie frowned, obviously looking worried. What she was planning was probably going to get them all killed. "Fine." She said. "We first have to create a distraction for Typhon. Annabeth or Leo, you be the distraction. I promise we'll take him down before he has a chance to kill the distraction."

"I can't-" Maddie saw Typhon's weapon coming down, almost seeming in slow motion. "Suit yourself." She whispered. She lit the box, and all at once, there was an explosion so massive that Olympus could hear it.
