Chiron trotted over to Percy, while talking to Daniel. "Maddie disappeared? Just like that?"

Daniel nodded. "I'm going to go look in her cabin for clues." He sprinted to the Aphrodite cabin, and started fishing through papers and candy wrappers.

Daniel kept looking for stuff. Occasionally he would find a t-shirt with a corny pun that must of flung out of her dresser, but he didn't feel like laughing at it. He found some uneaten candy, but he didn't take it. Finally, he found the book that Maddie used to write in to reach Aphrodite.
"This might help. Maybe we could ask Aphrodite." Daniel said.

Daniel sat down on the floor and began writing in it.
"Hey, Aphrodite. This is Daniel, Leo, and Ella, if you cannot see. We're wondering where Maddie went? She's missing." Daniel wrote.
"There." Daniel said. "Hopefully she responds soon."

Daniel waited for a few moments, and soon the book said "I must not say. But she is alive......barely."
Daniel rolled his eyes. "No wonder Maddie doesn't like her Mom. She can't tell us where her own daughter is?!"
"Listen, lady, I want answers. TELL ME WHERE MADDIE IS." Daniel wrote angrily.
