Maddie was sitting in her cabin, still reading. She heard a crash. "Who's there?" She got up. There was another crash. Maddie got worried. "Um, who's making the crashing noises? Ella, stop it. You're so immature."

"I am really hoping you're Ella." Maddie swallowed hard.

Maddie heard another crash. She had no idea where her sword was, or remember how to use it. She screamed and hid another her blanket as shards of glass from the window rocketed into her room.
"Help!!" She squeaked.
