It was kind of a ritual that she did whenever her phone rang.
"Hello, you have reached Maddie. Daughter of Aphrodite. Don't get what I just said? you have five seconds to hang up, or if you are a monster, same rules apply." Maddie breathed. "Now, how may I help you? By the way, that was a empty gesture."
