Leo carried Dan into the elevator, looking exhausted, while Dan just looked like a wreck.
Zoe awkwardly followed Leo, not knowing what to say.

Charlie stepped into the elevator, looking a little sad as he watched Christiana and Maddie disappear. He looked like he was going to cry, but he didn't. He sharply inhaled and looked away.

Leo, Zoe, and Dan were all silent the entire time they were in the elevator. Dan occasionally winced as he kept on bleeding slowly.

"Well, at least try," Leo said before walking to his room.

"Wow, he's so extra," Charlie said once Leo left. "Maddie should be with Percy, to be honest . . . " He took off Dan's shirt. "I dunno if you can hear me or not. Probably not, and even if you can you can't really respond. I'll try really hard to fix you, but it might not work. This part won't hurt, it'll feel nice." He took off Dan's bandages and immediately placed his hands on his wounds, softly singing a calming song.

Dan winced, suddenly looking uncomfortable. He used what little energy he had to shove Charlie away, but he was too weak to do it successfully, and he was only able give Charlie a gentle push.

Leo walked past and scowled when he saw what was going on. "What the ****, man."

"Don't worry, we have a safe word," Charlie joked. Then, thinking that Dan and Leo had too innocent of minds to get the joke, he said, "He was trying to hit me so I just tied him down. We're almost done."
