Leo didn't seem to mind Maddie. At the bottom of the stairs, there was a hallway containing multiple doors. "They're somewhere down here. They have to be." He opened one of the doors, and gasped when he saw Annabeth, shivering from the amount of pain she was in.

Maddie's grip on Leo's arm tightened, staring at Annabeth with tears in her eyes. "This is my fault."
Charlie scowled, and pushed Madeline away. "Annabeth, can you hear me?"
