Tara kept waiting for Annabeth, getting impatient.
The ground started to rumble, and Maddie backed away, drinking the rest of the blood slowly coming out of her wound.
"Is there a chance Typhon will kill us...?" Chris asked.
"Sort of," Maddie said. "But don't worry."

Tara walked inside Annabeth's cabin. "...Annabeth?"
"We're demigods," Christiana said. "Of course we won't be."
Suddenly, a dark figure evolved from the ground, and a deep voice growled, "Who has summoned me?"
"It's me, again," Maddie said, stepping forward. "Madd-er, Madeline."

"Surely you've gotten the hint," Typhon said. When Maddie still looked confused, he continued. "The doves and owls attacking."
"I have too many mental disorders to figure out what you're saying," Maddie said.

Typhon grunted, and the ground rumbled when he did. "Can you be so dense?"
"Better call me Dwayne Johnson because I'm as dense as a Rock," Maddie said.
Typhon grunted again, and it might've been a laugh. "You and Charlie must get married."
"What?!" Charlie asked, looking angry.
"But he has commitment issues!" Maddie insisted.
"I have commitment issues!" Charlie agreed.

"You can't break Laddie apart, Mr. Typhon Sir!" Christiana said. "Do you know how hard it'd be to redraw every piece of Laddie fanart, but with Charlie instead of Leo?!"
Charlie frowned. "Christiana-"
"Shh, just let her have her moment," Chris whispered.
"They're my parents, too!" Christiana shouted. "Plus, Charlie and Maddie never had a child."
"Because I never got lucky," Charlie said.
Maddie punched Charlie's arm, blushing even harder.
