Leo scowled, stepping away from the door. He opened it nervously, only to find Zoe, who looked awful. She was extremely pale, and even though she was wearing her black leather jacket, it was still easy to tell that she was almost skeletal.

"Can't you do more?" Maddie asked.
"I don't really carry a first-aid kit everywhere I go," Charlie said.
"I thought you did," Madeline said. "Like, whenever someone gets a paper cut your Doctor senses start tingling and you sing a little song as you go off to save them."
Charlie laughed a bit. "Like in TV shows?"
"What's a TV show?" Madeline asked.
"Never mind," Charlie said. "Just trust me, I'm the Doctor."
